Tend: Move & Recover
Terms of Use
Last updated: September 27, 2026
The short version. Your licence to use Tend is Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add what’s specific to Tend: how subscriptions and one-time purchases work, and that Tend is general wellness guidance, not medical advice.
Contents
1. Licence
Tend is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which forms part of these terms. The licensor is Pham Van Ngoan (“we”, “us”). If these terms and the Standard EULA conflict, the Standard EULA wins for anything it covers. Apple is not responsible for Tend or its content, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Standard EULA.
2. Health and safety
- Tend offers general wellness and movement guidance. It is not medical software and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, pain or injury.
- Check with a doctor or physiotherapist before starting if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery or injury, or have a health condition.
- Move within a comfortable range. If something hurts, stop. Use Adjust (Easier, No floor, Shorter) or skip the move.
- Readings from Apple Health are used only to suggest a plan and may be incomplete or out of date.
3. Tend Pro subscriptions
Tend is free to use with 5 and 10-minute plans, Adjust, “Why this plan?” and your last 14 days of history. Tend Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that adds 20 and 30-minute plans, 5 and 10-minute guided chest breathing, the camera form coach on every move (the coach on glute bridge is always free), every program (currently Desk-back reset), and your full history with sleep and energy side by side.
| Plan | Price (US) | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Tend Pro Yearly | $39.99 | Every year. Includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers |
| Tend Pro Monthly | $6.99 | Every month |
- Price. The price in your currency is shown in the app and on the Apple purchase sheet before you confirm. Prices may vary by country and may change; Apple will tell you in advance of any increase as its rules require.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Free trial. If you are eligible (generally, if you haven’t had a trial or introductory offer in the Tend Pro group before), the yearly plan starts with 7 days free. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid yearly subscription at the price shown. If you’re not eligible, the app does not show a trial and the plan is charged immediately.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling. Cancel anytime in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your iPhone, or in Tend under Settings › Manage subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Switching plans between monthly and yearly is handled by Apple within the same subscription group; you won’t be charged for two Pro plans at once.
- When Pro ends, the free features keep working, and anything you bought separately (like Desk-back reset) stays yours.
4. One-time program purchases
Programs such as Desk-back reset ($9.99 in the US) are non-consumable in-app purchases: you pay once, there is no subscription, and the program doesn’t expire. It stays unlocked whether or not you have Pro. Use Restore purchases (in the paywall, the program sheet, or Settings) to unlock it again on a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account.
5. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, and Apple handles refunds under its policies. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds directly.
6. Acceptable use and content
Use Tend for your own personal, non-commercial wellbeing. Don’t reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the app or its content except as the law allows. The plans, move library, cues, figures, text, sounds and design are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Tend has no user accounts or user-generated content.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Tend is provided “as is” and “as available”, as described in the Standard EULA. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury arising from exercise you choose to do. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory protections.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms, for example when new programs are added. We’ll change the date above, and for material changes we’ll tell you in the app. Questions: ngoanlearning@gmail.com.
